Grid Field Notes synthesizes published technical, product, and risk evidence into operating guidance. Vendor-reported results remain attributed, numerical examples are illustrative, and customer results appear only when they are explicitly measured and identified.
How we work
A claim should remain useful after the headline changes.
Six rules keep observation, inference, and operating advice from collapsing into one another.

Trace claims to evidence
Material claims link to research papers, standards, public documentation, or named first-party reports. A source is identified closely enough that a reader can inspect it.

Keep attribution attached
Vendor-reported performance stays labeled as vendor-reported. Preprints stay labeled as preprints. We do not turn a bounded result into a universal product or model ranking.

Separate evidence from examples
Measured findings, operating recommendations, and illustrative examples are presented as different things. Customer results appear only when they are explicitly measured and identified.

Name the boundary
Every evaluation has a workload, environment, budget, version, and acceptance rule. We state what the evidence supports and what it does not establish.

Maintain the record
Field Notes carry publication and modification dates. We revise material claims when stronger evidence, changed products, or corrected facts alter the operating conclusion.

Make corrections reachable
Readers can challenge a claim or share better evidence through the public contact route. Corrections should improve the durable page, not disappear into a private thread.
Inspect the work
Read the evidence. Challenge the conclusion.
Every Grid Field Note identifies its sources, methodology, limitations, and last material update so the operating conclusion can be inspected—not merely trusted.
